Randy Partain

Randy Partain will be coming back as our minister in September, 2018. Welcome back, Randy!

Randolph Partain is currently endorsed as a Humanist Celebrant, and he’s a candidate for fellowshipped ministry in the Unitarian Universalist Church. Randy completed his ministerial internship with the Copperfield Campus (now Tapestry Campus) of First UU Houston, and he’ll go to Boston to meet with the Ministerial Fellowshipping Committee in November. Randy earned a doctorate in Music Composition from Rice University, and he still composes on a regular basis. He also produces a weekly podcast for the Church of Cosmic Indifference, bringing together weird fiction inspired by H. P. Lovecraft and Humanist ideals. So, his life is basically an experiment in bringing together the things he’s passionate about in ways that contribute to greater wholeness in the world. Which, in Randy’s mind, is what makes life meaningful.
