Our Affirmation

From all that dwell below the skies
Let songs of hope and faith arise;
Let peace, goodwill on earth be sung
Through every land by every tongue.

All ages are invited to attend our worship service. Anything said at our services is for your intellectual and spiritual stimulation; no one is asked to agree or acquiesce to any doctrine or creed. Instead, you are free to seek the truth for yourself according to the dictates of your own reason and conscience.

Us vs Them

In November, our communities become divided into different camps each year by the sacred democratic process that empowers us to agree and disagree at the ballot box with a vote rather than with a rifle on a rooftop. Political violence has been on the rise in recent years in the United States, and political polarization continues to plague our society. While we tend to think of "Us vs Them" conflicts as being about our tribe fighting against an opposing tribe, we will instead hear about the differences between having an "Us" mentality versus a "Them" mentality, focusing on the UU value of pluralism.

Changing Hearts and Minds about Animals and Food

The Whole Food, Plant Based way of eating is not only about the importance of our food choices and the profound impacts they have on our own health, but also on the health of the planet and on the well-being of other animals that we share this earth with. We will have a short introduction by the members of the WFPB group and then share a video by Gene Baur from Farm Sanctuary.
